My Work

I'm a Civil Engineer in Computer Sciences and an MBA.  (cfr my CV).

I work since several years as a "Software Engineer". I worked for Cediti (an UCL spin-off), Software AG, HP and IBM.

In 2010 I have taken 1 year sabbatical leave in order to start new activities in the field of ePaper and eReading (electronic Reading). I have launched a new website : http://www.appepaper.com/

Today I still focus on "Digital Reading" ICT systems. For example, I design systems which allow to buy, rent or lend e-books.

But my work activities are still diversified : ICT Architecture (mostly SOA), eReading and Social Maketing (new), you can read about all of them on my professional blog : http://eavolution.com/

In the future I would like to do 100% eReading. My objective is to become a worldwide expert on eReading by 2020.

My Leisures

I like sports. I have been doing football (soccer), water-polo, horse-riding and tennis in the past, but today I focus on cycling (montain bike, road bike, spinning). You can see me playing water-polo (scoring a goal) here : MyFirstYouTubeVideo.

I also like travelling a lot.

Cette année je ne compte plus le nombre de diagramme d’architecture (ICT) que j’ai dessinés. Il y en a de toutes sortes : des capabilities maps, des governance processes, des data models, des service portfolios, des SOA overview, des diagrammes de contexte “situation actuelle”, “situation désirée”, des diagrammes d’activité, des use cases, des plans d’actions…

Je voudrais les publier, j’essaye de les rendre beaux. Mais, grande frustration, je ne peux pas. Ils appartiennent à mes clients. Ou alors ils contiennent des plans de modules innovatifs que nous ne voudrions pas publier…

D’où mon idée de peindre des versions abstraites de ces diagrammes… Par exemple la Vlaams e-Boek Platform (VEP).

J’aimerais faire un desssin comme celui-là toutes les mois. Mais pour cela il me faudrait plus de temps et plus de projets “publics”.

Entretemps si j’ai le temps je ferai un e-book en Anglais qui explique les différents éléments du tableau.
