Hello here
March 2013Publishing books as Android/iOS applications is a new trend? t.co
This question was posted on the Tools of Change for Publishing group on LinkedIn. Here is my answer: The real trend is not apps. The real trend is the willingness to offer “interactive ebooks”. Or rather an interactive reading experience that contains multimedia, quizz, calculation, enhanced navigation, text to speech synchronization, games… To offer that experience you have many options, for example : - make a website (better if you have huge contents, you can stream the content on demand) - make an ebook in PDF, ePub, Kindle. Even if the IDPF does his maximum, there are many challenges to achieve compatibility. On the other hand, you have the advantage of not locking your users in. - make an app and deliver your content via an application store. The advantages are that the programming environment is very rich and “under control”, you can have quiet large applications (popular games can be 1GB), many users have the compatible devices (smartphones, tablets). The disadvantages is that you lock your customers into the app and that the application store will ask you 30% of the final price, making it harder to make money. ![]() Ce soir tous les Belges se disent "merde les Croates on gagné" et tous les Croates se disent "Merde les Belges gagné" #diablesrouges

I spent at least 5 hours this weekend (24 Mars 2013) trying to restore Vista from a bad resume. The software has always been so bad, I had installed Ubuntu on that machine since the beginning. VISTA self-destroyed on my machine. Suicide. On the Acer there is a system restore function. It doesn’t work… So bye bye vista. I’m now giving all the place to Linux on that machine. In the process of trying to repair I found a great set of tools called Hiren, see http://www.hiren.info/ If you need to save a broken PC, Hiren could be of a great help. ![]() Allo quoi ! – Vidéo Video Stats – Football – Video Eurosport: Le premier “allo quoi” que j’ai vu. j’étais pas ... t.co

#SOA Analysis Workshop - Service Identification and Modeling - t.co
This march 2013, I give a “SOA Analysis” workshop at one of my customers. Using a false scenario and pseudo business process, during the first workshop, we perform SOA Service Identification via the clarification of the architecture using a System Context Diagram. Then we identify the key system capabilities required for enabling the business process. From there, after looking at the messages exchanged between systems and the opportunity to use an Entreprise Data Model for those, we continue towards a Service Candidate List containing : Service Name, Capability Name, Capability Description, Input, Output, Consumer and Provider. In the second workshop, we take one of the services out of the candiate list and specify it completely : functional context, quality of service, SLA, security, capabilities, pre-post conditions, exceptions… I also stress the importance of UML modeling for SOA by showing examples in Entreprise Architect. The Service Identification and Modeling phases are part of the generic SOA Governance Lifecycle defined by Thomas Erl. As main white papers underlying the workshop I recommend the following reading: - IBM / Arsanjani – “SOMA: A method for developing service-oriented solutions“ - Oracle – SOA RA (Reference Architecture) Foundation v 3.1 - Thomas Erl, Understanding SOA Governance (see free chapter in pdf, includes the Service Lifecycle ) Filed under: BPM, Entreprise Architecture, Requirements Analysis, SOA ![]() #Arsenal, If you have to score 3 goals at #bayern, shouldn't you attack with 4 or 5 guys like #barca did yesterday? #footballchampagne ?
