Test 2 to post more into start.php.....
A long text this time...
Le m?tier d'architecte comme on le consid?re aujourd'hui, c'est-?-dire comme discipline lib?rale (donc non-m?canique, est plus apparent? aux arts et aux sciences qu'aux pratiques manuelles et artisanales des m?tiers du b?timent), est assez neuf en occident. Il date de la Renaissance. Dans la plupart des soci?t?s ant?rieures ? la Renaissance, il existait d?j? des ? architectes ?, plus pr?cis?ment appel?s ma?tre-ma?on ou ma?tre charpentier. Ils cumulaient les t?ches de ceux qu'on appelle aujourd'hui les architectes, les ing?nieurs et les entrepreneurs, mais on leur demandait surtout de s'occuper du c?t? technique de constructions magistrales (?difices publics ou priv?s de prestige). En dehors de ces quelques cas exceptionnels, les b?tisses ?taient construites par leurs occupants ? partir de sch?mas que les si?cles ont permis de mettre au point par exp?rimentation sans que cela ne requiert un sp?cialiste. On appelle ce processus la construction selon des types ou plus simplement le vernaculaire.

The Iliad is a great read/write eBook. It still costs a lot of money (about 700 Euros) but I believe such an eBook will be my next buy so I can read IBM's RedBooks or other RFPs and take notes on this. I would also like to play with the SDK...
